Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport , you will be welcomed by Primate Safari experience guide who will transfer you to Nkima Lodge  for dinner and overnight ( Mid Range)  and if you stay in Entebbe , NO 5 Boutique ( Luxury). Check on the hotels sections to select.

Note:  if time allows , you will explore Entebbe city and visiting the Zoo plus craft shops

You will have morning breakfast at the lodge and head for the shoe bill watching in the wetlands. If you spent your night in Entebbe hotel , you will transfer by boat to connect to Mabamba Swamp  for Shoe bill stork  Bird Watching and later return back to the lodge for relaxation. Feel the beach of lake Victoria, the largest water body with East Africa that is shared between Uganda, Kenya & Tanzania. Dinner and overnight as above.

After Early morning breakfast, You will jump into your safari land cruiser and start on the drive to Rwenzori Mountains national Park which is the unique mountaineering destination that offer summit to Margherita Peak  found on Mount Stanley.

The Safari guide will select the route to use to connect to Rwenzori Mountains ( Getting there) since there are two routes.

Dinner and overnight in Equator Snow Lodge ( Luxury) Ruboni Camp ( Budget)

You will head to RMS headquarter where you will meet the rangers and porters, guides , where you will be briefed about the hiking rules and regulations , and after start on the 6 hours hike into the Rwenzoris passing through the lower vegetation covers. Dinner and Overnight at Nyabitaba Camp. 

From John Matte Hut the trail drops down to cross the Bujuku River and enters Lower Bigo Bog, the home of giant lobelias. Jumping from tussock to tussock, the bog is finally crossed but rarely without the feet sampling some of the freezing ooze below.

The upper Bigo bog gives way to Bujuku Lake, with views of Mount Baker to the South and Mt Stanley to the West.

While at Bujuku Hut, well located in the shadow of Mount Baker and Mount Speke, is set in a narrow valley below Stuhlmann Pass.

This camp is good for acclimatization for clients attempting the summits of peaks Mount Stanley and Mount Speke. Dinner and overnight at Bujuku hut.

Hike duration: 4 – 5 hours. Elevation height: 457m

Very early in the morning at 2:00am, you attempt climbing the highest peak, Margherita of Mount Stanley.  You will hike to the summit of Margherita peak, the climb takes about 4 -5 hours depending on the weather conditions and the pace of climbing this mountain. This tough walk takes you over three glaciers, slippery rock, ice and very exposed areas which are open on many sides.

Climbing on to the glaciers, cross the Stanley Plateau and proceed with the ascent. Acclimatized to fog, altitude sickness and coolly weather, scramble up to the summit of Margherita the highest peak of the Rwenzori mountains.

The Descend from Margherita peak back to Elena Hut will take you about 2 – 3hours.
After your lunch at Elena hut, descend to the Scott-Elliot pass (4372m), where there are spectacular views of Bujuku Lake and Mount Speke.

After, the trail passes you through an alpine zone of sparse vegetation and rough boulders, descend past the Kitandara Lakes. Dinner and overnight at the Kitandara camp.

From Kitandara, take on the trail that ascends steeply up the headwall, spreading out from the base of Mount Baker and continuing along the south side of the mountain to Fresh field Pass 4282m

At this point you can view into the Congo to the west and Mount Stanley to the north. From the pass, take on the long high alpine mossy.

Thereafter start the descend through steep rocky trails and the rock shelter at Bujongolo, the base camp for the historic expedition by the Duke of Abruzzi in 1906 and then an overnight at Guy yeoman camp.

You will descend through the cliffs of Kichuchu the muddy path crosses the Mubuku River twice through a bamboo forest before climbing downwards to Nyabitaba to complete the circuit. Continue descending Nyabitaba Camp

After Morning Breakfast, You will then continue to descend for more 3 hours to Nyakalengija. The path down can be slippery and muddy with little to hold on to and requires careful balancing over the vertical mud or steep rock.

Dinner and overnight at Equator Snow Lodge ( Luxury ) Relax in the Afternoon

After Morning breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer with your safari guide to Queen Elizabeth National park which is the most lovely destination for watching the tree climbing lions. You will do afternoon game drive to search for the wildlife animals as you relax.

After Early morning breakfast, you will  enjoy a 2 hours boat ride on the Kazinga Channel where you will encounter Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, kobs plus warthogs among others. This ride will also enable you to see an array of birds. After Boat Cruise you will start on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park , which is known for gorilla trekking, it hosts half of the world’s mountain gorillas and its the recommended destination for mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda and volcanoes national Park in Rwanda.

You will arrive at the hotel in the late evening and check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight at Dinner and overnight at Ihamba Residence ( Mid Range) Silverback lodge ( Luxury ) and Buhoma Lodge ( Super Luxury) . Check on the lodges in Bwindi Impenetrable National park.

After early morning breakfast at your lodge and getting your packed lunch , you will head to the park headquarter for short briefing about the gorilla trekking Rules, and later enter into the jungle to start the search for the endangered species ( Mountain Gorilla Trekking).

Gorilla Trekking in the jungle will take you around 4 hours or more and you will be allowed to spend an hour with the gorillas after return to the park headquarters for the gorilla trekking certificate, After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

After Morning breakfast at the lodge , you will drive into lake mburo with stop over at Mbarara cultural sites and lunch will be in Mbarara town , Later proceed to Lake Mburo National Park which is also known as a wildlife destination that is close to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Eagles Nest ( Budget) and Rwakobo Lodge ( Mid Range ) , Mihigo Lodge ( Luxury )

With your relaxation at Lake Mburo National Park , you will have the option to select on what best activity to do like Bike ( Cycling )  or Horse Riding Tour.
