This one day nature walk lets visitors enjoy walks, traversing the lower slopes of the mountains up to Lake Muhoma, Ascending from Nyakalengija along Mahoma trail walking through the rain forests along the Kyambogho ride where Mahoma offers you an opportunity to have a scenic view of the Mubuku valley and the Rwenzori Mountains.

This one day Rwenzori trek will take you through montane forest with thick trees with a variety of primates and various bird species which include the forest elephant, chimpanzee, hyrax, black-and-white colobus, L'Hoest's monkeys, duiker, three-horned chameleons and Rwenzori turaco.

The mountains are well-known for their unique alpine flora which includes many species endemic to the Albertine Rift in the higher altitude zones including giant heather, groundsels, lobelias and this vegetation make the property exceptionally scenic and beautiful.

Later you will descend the mountain and return to the starting point.
