Day 1: Arrive to Kigali and transfer to Gisenyi

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport , you will be welcomed by the safari guide of Primate Safari Experience , brief you about Nyiragongo Hiking tour you booked with Us. You will later set off from Kigali to Goma enjoying the scenic view of the land of thousand hills that has developed infrastructures ( Roads) and enjoy lunch en route and later proceed to arrive at Grande Barrier border and cross into the Democratic Republic of Congo with check in at Serena Hotel Goma. Dinner and overnight st Serena Hotel ( Luxury)

Day 2: Transfer to Nyiragongo Volcano

After Morning break fast at the lodge, the safari guide will transfer you to Virunga Tourism Office at Kibati Station which is the starting point for Nyiragongo Hike, you will get travel information regarding the hiking , tools and porters who are certified about leading Mountaineering Tours in Virunga.

The Nyiragongo hike takes about 6 hours depending on your speed and fitness. You will hike through the forested areas, lava flows and the open space. When you reach the summit, you will have the opportunity of watching the wonderful views of the boiling lava with red glow from the crusted lava. Such experiences are a lifetime memory to the travelers and adventurous lovers. Dinner and overnight at the Cabins of Nyiragongo

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali

Wake up early and start off your journey back to the starting point ( Kibati station ) where you will find the safari guide and transfer you to cross the border back to Rwanda with lunch en route in Gisenyi ( Refreshing will be done at the hotel where your will be having lunch from ) and later proceed to drive to Kigali with drop off at Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
